Hotel Terrazas del Lago, in Lake Atitlán, Guatemala.

"Hotel Terrazas del Lago for escape from other tourists"

Panoramic vista of the lake Atitlan from the hotel

We recently stayed in this pleasant hotel in the town of San Antonio Palopo, about 20 minutes drive around Lake Atitlan from Panajachel. The Hotel Terrazas del Lago has about a dozen rooms.

Street address is Hotel Terrazas del lago, 07012 San Antonio Palopo, Guatemala, Central America.

This is the only hotel we know of in this town. The hotel overlooks the shores of beautiful Lake Atitlan. Owner-operators are Manuela Chaj and Miriam Valenzuela.

E-mail is iffy in this part of the world, so if you don't get an answer from terrazas@intelnet.net.gt contact them directly at telephone: (502) 7762-0037, fax: (502) 7762-0157.

Owner-operators are and Miriam Valenzuela. We can recommend this hotel as clean, safe, and run by honorable people. Food is tasty, beer is cold, and the wine from Chile was not rot gut that you get in other small towns. The wine was good and a known brand too.

If you need a cab to get to San Antonio Palopo, or to Sta Catalina, we recommend: Cab driver, Arnóldo Torola,
Phone: (502) 5817-4906
